Parks In Annandale
Annandale Municipal ParkThis is a seven-acre regional park located on Oak Avenue that was created to provide Annandale and the surrounding communities with a recreational area. Pleasant Lake Beach covers the northern tip; swimmers are provided the comfort and convenience of a beach house and bathrooms. The area July Fourth celebration is held here, and areas are set aside for hiking, fishing and baseball. Picnic tables are found throughout the park. Shelters are available for large group and family events.
Schroeder ParkOpen from April to October, this park is a nature-lover's delight. Featured activities include camping, hiking, fishing, boating and swimming. The park is a short, two-mile drive from Annandale. Located on the north-end of Cedar Lake, the park has plenty of water and outdoor activities year-round. The park's campground offers 50 sites with electricity and water, as well as modern bathrooms and showers. Picnic and volleyball areas are available, and shelters can be reserved for group outings.
Stanley Eddy Memorial Park ReserveComprised of 879 acres, this Annandale park is broken up into three areas and covered in marshes,

Clearwater/Pleasant Regional ParkThis park is located one mile north of Annandale, making it a quick jaunt to numerous outdoor activities. With 210 acres running between both Clearwater Lake and Pleasant Lake, the park hosts lake shores on both, providing beaches, volleyball and swimming. Hikers can walk any of the numerous trails, and families can enjoy a play area. Parking is plentiful, as are picnic areas; for a fee, a shelter can be reserved for larger groups or events.
